Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Lowell Elementary School website. Thanks to the emphasis of technology in District 200, we have our very own webmaster, Miss Catalano, who created our website and will work with the staff at Lowell School to enhance communication between home and school.

Our new District 200 Vision and Mission Statements are grounded upon the philosophy of “inspiring in everyone a passion to excel.” We embrace that philosophy and will keep you informed about how we will do that in future Memo newsletters. Lowell School encourages our parents and community members to become involved in our school. We value your contribution to our school, and we have various opportunities in which you can become involved. Perhaps you’d like to get involved with P.T.A. or assist one of our teachers by creating or copying classroom materials, or working directly with children.

Please know that the Lowell staff is committed to providing the roots for lifelong learning at school. We believe that our students should be responsible citizens, critical thinkers, healthy individuals, and academic achievers. Students should also be able to have fun while they learn.
